T.D. Ellis

As a bassoon student at the State University of New York, College at Purchase, T.D. Ellis took a course on Baroque Music Performance Practice taught by Anthony Newman. Wynton Marsalis recorded “The Baroque Wedding Album” and “Music for Trumpet” by Torelli with the English Chamber Orchestra on the Sony label, which quickly became the number one classical recording titled, “In Gabriel's Garden”. Other works have found their way to recordings on the Newport Classic and Albany labels, and in films by Paramount Pictures.
